Beautiful and warm scarf - a gift with nostalgia.

I bought the scarf as a gift for my cousin’s 70th birthday - she lives in a cold part of the country! She loved it and has commented how warm it is and that the colours were her favourites (which is one of the reasons I bought it). There’s another reason I purchased the scarf, which relates to a gift to me, many years ago - a St Albans rug given to me by aunt (my cousin’s mother, now deceased) to keep me warm when I moved to live in Beijing more than 20 years ago. She worried that I would feel the cold in those extreme winters! That rug has lived on my bed ever since. It’s wonderfully light in the summer months, and in winter is a warm and cosy ‘topper’ over the doona. I love that rug, so much so that I have since purchased others for guests to enjoy when they come to stay. I loved the connection between my rug and this scarf and the fact that this is an Australian made product, too. Ordering online was simple and the scarf delivered efficiently. Thanks!
